5 Card draw is a very popular variant of poker and often the first game learned by most players, as beginning game.

Object of game
The goal of 5 Card Draw is to make the best hand consisting of five cards. Between dealing there are two rounds of betting, which means, that there is a possibility for bluffing and that players can also win by fooling other players into believing they, the bluffing player, have the best hand.

Blinds
At the beginning the Dealer is chosen, marked by using a special emblem, the dealer emblem and responsibility moves clockwise to the next player after each hand. The two players clockwise after the Dealer are forced to pay blinds to the pot. Blinds are provide action and build the pot.
The first player to the left of the Dealer is pays the Small Blind and second player the Big (double) blind. The size of the blinds also provide information about table stakes. For example, in a table with $1/$2 stakes, the small blind is $1 and the big blind is $2. After posting the blind, five cards are dealt to each player and first round of betting starts.

Betting
The player located directly to the left of the Big Blind may: fold cards, call the big blind or bet a higher amount, depending on betting limits of the table. The same decision is required from every other player sitting at the table. The last player to act is the player who posted the Big Blind.

Draw
Each player remaining in game, after the blinds have been posted, is allowed to exchange up to four of his cards.

Final betting and showdown
The final betting round begins and after that the best hand, created from the five cards that each player has, is selected. If two players have the same hand, the pot is divided between them.
