All-in:

This rule gives the chance to a player who has run out of money. He doesn't have to resign from the further BIDDING and money in POT. For further information, consult the GAMEPLAY section.



BACK TO TOP
Ante:

An amount of money needed for starting the game. In Poker Texas the ante is combined from SMALL BLIND and LARGE BLIND.

Bet:

Bet is an amount of money that player must put into the POT for active BIDDING.

Bid:

Bidding is one of the most important things in Poker. Generally it's process of making simultaneous BETS regarding to the VALUE OF CARDS in HAND.

Bluff:

Action of BETTING with the poor HAND in the hopes of convincing other players that player's HAND is high to make them FOLD cards.

Bring-in

The call stake which is automatically taken at the beginning of the game.

Cap

It only exists in the Stake Limit and Table Limit game modes. It is the same as Raise but the name Cap is used for the raise in the last (the fourth) raising turn during betting.

Call:

Adding to POT exactly as much as amounts the maximum BET of previous players.

Card Value:

It is clear that one card is higher than the other - from the highest to lowest it is - A,K,Q,J,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2.

Check:

This action is possible when no one RAISED the BET in BID. By check we mean that player is waiting for other players' move.

Deal:

Offering two cards to every player. In our game computer does it.

Flop:

Three cards put on the table after first BIDDING. Those cards are visible to all players.

Hand:

Two cards in every player's possession. Those cards are visible only to their owner.

High Card:

Large Blind:

Second OBLIGATORY BET in game. Its amount is twice of the value of SMALL BLIND

Pack:

All 52 cards in a game. Jokers aren't used in Poker.

Pass:

Declaration of abandoning the current game and leaving the POT to other players.

Pot:

The money received from all players during the BIDDING Money in POT goes to one player - the winner.

Raise:

Increasing maximum bet in the POT, depending on player's will and maximum raise limit (STRUCTURED LIMIT).

River:

Last, fifth card added to cards on table. After this, last BIDDING takes place.

Set of cards:

Arrangement of cards in players HAND - the more rare it is, the biggest VALUE it has. All poker sets of cards are described in GAMEPLAY section.

Small Blind:
