GAMEPLAY

The game is for two couples sitting opposite each other.

The cards used to play the game are the cards form Ace to Nine (a small pack - 24 cards).

Its objective is to collect points in successive dealings in order to score 10 points as soon as possible.

There is a trump suit in the game.

The seniority of cards in non-trump suits, from Ace to Nine.

The oldest card in a trump suit is a jack (so-called the right bower), e.g. Jack , Ace , King , Queen , Ten and Nine . Only in this game Jack is of the suit - red or black, i.e. as in this example the Jack (so-called left bower), is also a trump but of second seniority. Thus, the seniority is like that: Jack , Jack , Ace , King , Queen , Ten and Nine .

NAMING THE TRUMP SUIT

Players are dealt 5 cards each. The other 4 cards create the pile on which the top card, is face up.

Beginning with the player on the left of the dealer, each player must accept or pass the trump suit marked by the card on the face-up pile.

If all the players pass, another game starts. If in another one none of the players accepts one of the three suits as a trump suit (and it is not possible to select the suit which has not been accepted), there are two possibilities, depending on the game variant:

In case of the dealer's play option on the trump suit is named by the dealer out of the other three suits with no possibility to pass.
But if the option is switched off, the round is closed

Having named the trump suit; the dealer collects the face-up card from the pile and is obliged to play one of the cards in hand.

The player who has accepted the trump suit is called the maker.

He or she is the first to decide whether to play alone, i.e. wants the partner to place the cards face-down and not to participate in the game (essential if the maker decides to take all the 5 tricks and thus, score 4 pts, all the other game rules remain unchanged), or to play together. Then such decisions are made by the other players.

The game starts.

The player on the left of the dealer deals a card. It is obligatory to follow the suit led. If a player has no card of the suit led, he or she is allowed to play any card in hand. A trump card can be played only when a player lacks a card of the suit led.

The trick is won by the player who has played the highest card of the suit led or beats with a trump card.

The maker - alone or with a partner (depending on the previous choice) - must win at least three out of the five tricks possible. Otherwise the points are scored by the opponent.

SCORING

For the minimum three tricks collected by the maker / the maker with a partner - 1 pt.
For all the five tricks collected by the maker / the maker with a partner - 2 pts.
For collecting 5 tricks in an individual game - 4 pts.
When the makers do not collect the minimum of 3 tricks, the opponents score 2 pts.

The number of tricks in a particular dealing is always displayed at a player's nick, and the current scoring after the latest dealing is in the scoring bar.

GAME OVER

The game is over the moment that one of the couples scores 10 pts or more.
