GAME RULES

It is a board game meant for 2-4 people.

It is played on a board with 16 x 16 checkered squares.

The number of players' pieces changes depending on the number of players.

When two people play the game, each of them is given 19 pieces, which are positioned in triangles in their corners of the board. When there are 3 or 4 players, each of them is given 13 pieces.

The game objective is to move all the player’s pieces to the opposing corner of the board.

Players make moves in turn moving one piece in one turn.

A piece can move one square in any direction in a straight line vertically, horizontally or diagonally. It may hop over other pieces, both the player’s own ones and / or the opponents’, hopping any number of times. The condition of making more than one hop during one move is not placing the piece on the board. Multiple hops are made by one move of the piece.

Hopping is possible only if there is an adjacent vacant square behind the piece to be hopped over.

The pieces which are hopped over remain on their squares. There is no capturing in Halma.

The piece color a player uses is marked by the player’s nick. During each move he or she makes a piece of the color the player uses is displayed by the player’s move.

GAME OVER

The winner is the player who moves all his or her pieces to the opposing corner of the board first.

If any of the players manages to do it, then the game is over.
