GAME RULES

The game is played on a board consisting of twenty four circles which are placed on three concentric squares of various sizes, each square situated within another.

Each player has 9 monochromatic stones (green and red).

The game is started by the player who has drawn red stones. He or she places one of the stones on any unoccupied circle.

Next moves are performed alternately.

The moment that both players have placed all their stones on the board, each consecutive move is about moving the stones that are on the board to unoccupied adjacent circles.

Only when a player has three stones left on the board, it is possible to remove the stone to any unoccupied circle.

The game objective is to capture the opponent's stones as soon as possible, which is done by achieving so-called mills only. Mills are three stones in line, horizontal or vertical, on circles connected by lines exclusively.

The player who has achieved a mill removes any of the opponent's stones. It is allowed to remove the stone which is not included in a mill only. When all the opponent's stones are included in mills, the player removes any opponent's stone. Captured pieces are not replayed onto the board.

It is possible to achieve two mills at one time by placing one stone on the board. In this case the player captures two of any opponent's stones according to the above-mentioned rules.

GAME OVER

The game is over when one of the players has only two stones on the board or he or she cannot make a move, i.e. all the neighboring circles are occupied and blocked by the opponent's stones. In this case, the player's opponent is the winner. If the same situation is repeated on the board three times, it is a draw.

EXTRA GAME OPTIONS

The only extra game option is No immediate returns. Using it does not allow the opponent to return to the previous position in the next move. The stone can be moved to the position in a subsequent move.

The option is useful because a player can remove a stone from the existing mill and then returning to the previous position in the next move achieve a mill again and capture the opponent's stone.
