All players must Register if they wish to compete. This is event will be held on April 28 - 30, 2006. Qualifications will for offered at Noon, and 4:00 PM EDT (GMT -4) on April 28 and 29. Quarter/Semi Finals will be held at Noon and 4:00 PM EDT (GMT -4) April 30 and Finals at 5:00 PM EDT (GMT -4) April 30, or as soon as all Semi-Finals complete. Play will continue at each table until only the winner/advancer(s) remain playing. Prizes will be paid directly into players' accounts 1-3 days after the event completes. Each person can enroll in the tournament only with a single nickname (If the Organizers discover a player has used more than one nickname, that player will be disqualified!) 2. If the nickname registered on the website is different from the nickname to be played for a given round, the player is obliged to inform the Organizers in advance. 3. To ease Tournament administration, players are asked to use a single nickname throughout the entire Tournament. 4. All players who have an account on GameDesire can take part in the tournament. 5. All participants must have a registered nickname. (We don't accept players with the nickname "guest") 6. The participants who play in the same location or from the same computer are obliged to inform the Organizers about it before the Tournament begins (by e-mail to SunshineLeague@aol.com). Otherwise such players will be removed from the game - the Organizers cannot ensure that participants playing from one computer will be assigned to different groups or won't have to play a match against each other. 7. The Organizers reserve the right to change the number of participants or to remove some players from the list, based on previous history of behavior at GameDesire. 8. The Organizers have the right to change the date of final entries (in the case of too few or too many interested players) 9. The Organizers have the right to change the regulations of the tournament until it starts. 10. All chat in the lobby and at the tables is restricted to English. Any chat in other languages can be cause for disqualification. Players may NOT expose the contents of their hands in open chat until a hand is over. Referees may warn players to speak only in their native language at their tables or refrain from kibitzing in hands they have folded and if the warning is not abided by, one of more players may be disqualified. Watchers are asked not to chat, other than saying hello to the players, and will be asked to leave the table if they do not respect the chat limitation, and may be booted if they fail to leave when asked. 11. Collusion between players is NOT allowed. No player may help another to win or gain position (chips). Collaborative (partnership) play is strictly prohibited. Referees and/or Organizers may disqualify players believed to be collaborating to secure a win. This can include intentionally "throwing" hands/chips to another player. 12. In situations not specified in the regulations, decisions will be made by the Organizers at the time the issue is raised. Poker Tournament Rules: 1. All matches are played at the GameDesire service (www.gamedesire.com). Players arriving on time for a Qualifying Event and that are Registered for the Tournament will be added to the list of players awaiting seat assignments for that game. Players may only play ONCE to qualify. Playing twice or more will be grounds for disqualification. 2. Tables will be balanced, maximizing number of players at each table. We will strive to have 5-6 players at all tables. 3. Players arriving late, if they are within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, may be permitted to play, providing a table of 3-6 players can be assembled. All late tables will be set at the TD's discretion. 4. Play will continue at each table until one player (or 2 players if 2 advance) has all of the chips, and all other players are eliminated from the game. 5. In the Qualification Round of play, 1st and 2nd place players will advance if 4 or more players are seated for a table. In the case of a 2 or 3 player table, only 1 player will advance. 6. If needed Quarter Finals will be held. Quarter Finals will be needed if more than 36 advance from Qualifications. In Quarter Finals 1st and 2nd place players will advance if 4 or more players are seated for a table. In the case of a 2 or 3 player table, only 1 player will advance. 7. In Semi Finals only the winners will advance to finals if 4 or more tables are set. In the case of 2-3 tables, the top 2 players will advance to the final table. 8. Each game must be played in the presence of a Referee who is responsible for the correct course of the game and for recording and confirming the exact result. The Referee of a given match must not play in that match. 9. In the case of unsuitable behavior (swearing, calling others names, cheating) a participant may be disqualified immediately - All such decisions will be made by the Referee(s). 10. When a player is disconnected, is placed on the Tournament table's timer and fails to return in the allowed 7 minute reconnection time, the player is eliminated from the Tournament 11. When a player is disconnected, and the Tournament table incorrectly registers it as a voluntary "Stand Up", the Referee will make a judgment call on whether the removed player had a realistic chance of winning, based on factors such as: chips remaining, current blinds, time invested in the current round, and fairness to all players. - Tables will be eligible for reset if either the removed player was leading in chips or the game had not completed 10 hands at the time of the erroneous disconnect. - The player may be permitted to join a later session of the Qualification or Semi Final Round, if one is scheduled - Unfortunately in some situations there will be no future table available for a reseating, so the only remedy would be a reset. The decision for a reset will be at the discretion of the Referee and Organizers. 12. Matches are scheduled at set times, and players must arrive on time to assure a seat. During the Qualifying Round tables may be added if sufficient late arriving players wish to play. For Semi Finals and Finals we recommend players arrive on time, as it is unlikely any late tables will be permitted. 13. The tables for each game will be posted in the Tournament's chat lobby. 14. Qualifying Round games will begin at Noon, 4:00 and 5:30 PM PM EDT on April 28 and 29. Times are GMT -4. 15. In the case of Quarter finals being required, they will be played at Noon EDT (GMT -4) April 30. 16. Semi Finals will be played at 4:00 PM EDT (GMT -4) April 30. In the case where the is no need for Quarter Finals another Semi Finals time will be offered at Noon EDT (GMT -4) April 30. 17. Finals will be played on April 30 at 5:00 PM EDT (GMT -4) or as soon as all Semi-Finals complete. 18. Each table will have an assigned arbitrator (Referee) who they can turn to if they have any questions or concerns. Additional Information: 1. All matches will be played in tournament poker format, entry stake is 1 $ GD, timers will be set to 20 seconds, and the games will be played in the designated betting structure. 2. After the tournament starts each player gets 3000 chips (GD) at the table and the 1 $ he/she bet will be placed in the game's prize pool. 3. Kwalifikacje zostaną rozegrane o 18:00 i 22:00 czasu Polskiego 28 i 29 kwietnia. Ćwierć i półfinały zostaną rozegrane również o północy 30 kwietnia, natomiast finał jak najszybciej po zakończeniu połfinałów. Gra bedzie kontynuowana na stole po wyłonieniu zwycięzcy i przegranego danej gry. Nagrody zostaną wpłacone na konto graczy, od 1 do 3 dni po zakończeniu rywalizacji. Ogólne Zasady Turnieju: 1. Każda osoba może zapisać do turnieju tylko jeden nick (jeśli Organizatorzy odkryją, że gracz użył więcej niż jednego nicka, gracz ten zostanie zdyskwalifikowany!) 2. Jeśli nick zgłoszony na witrynie internetowej jest inny niż nick do gry w danej rundzie, gracz jest zobowiązany do wcześniejszego poinformowania Organizatorów. 3. Dla ułatwienia zarządzania turniejem, gracze są proszeni by używać jednego nicka przez cały Turniej. 4. Wszyscy gracze, którzy mają konto w serwisie GameDesire mogą brać udział w turnieju. 5. Wszyscy uczestnicy muszą mieć zarejestrowane nicki. (Nie akceptujemy graczy z nickami typu "gość") 6. Uczestnicy, którzy grają z takiego samego komputera są zobowiązani do informowania Organizatorów przed rozpoczęciem Turnieju (przez e-mail: SunshineLeague@aol.com ). Inaczej tacy gracze zostaną usunięci z gry - Organizatorzy nie mogą być pewni, że uczestnicy grający z jednego komputera zostaną przydzieleni innym grupom albo nie będą musieli rozegrać meczu przeciwko sobie. 7. Organizatorzy zastrzegają sobie prawo do zmiany liczby uczestników lub usunięcia jakichś graczy z listy, w oparciu o historie poprzednich zachowań GameDesire. 8. Organizatorzy mają prawo zmienić datę ostatnich wejść (w przypadku małej lub większej ilości zaciekawionych graczy) 9. Organizatorzy mają prawo zmienić przepisy turnieju przed jego rozpoczęciem. 10. Cała rozmowa na czacie i przy stołach jest ograniczona do języka angielskiego. Jakakolwiek rozmowa w innych językach może być powodem do wykluczenia. Gracze nie mogą odsłaniać zawartości swoich rąk w osobistej rozmowie do czasu gdy ręka nie będzie pusta?. Sędziowie mogą ostrzegać graczy i mówić w ich językach ojczystych? Jeśli gracze nie będą stosować się do ostrzeżeń, jeden lub więcej graczy może zostać zdyskwalifikowanych.
