The board is divided into pie shaped sectors numbered from 1 to 20. There are also two narrow rings on it. The inner narrow board ring usually count for three times the number hit, and is called "triple". The outer narrow board ring counts twice, and is called "double".
In the middle of the board there are two smaller circles - the inner "bull's eye" and the outer "bull's eye". The outer one scores 25 points and the outer one scores 50 points.
The game board should be hung in such a way that number 20 is situated in the upper part of the board. The center of the "bull's eye" should be situated at 5 feet and 8 inches (172,5 cm) above the floor level. A standardized distance from the board surface to the throwing line is 7 feet and 9,25 inches (237 cm).
SCORING
Contestants play alternatively and each of them throws three darts in a turn. A throw is scored depending on the number a dart hits. The spider makes it possible to distinguish the number a dart hits.
HOW TO THROW A DART?
Wait for your turn, click on the board, the dart is in your hand now and you can move it around. Now click and hold the left mouse button, and while holding it, move the mouse backwards (the dart appears bigger on the screen) and then move the mouse forward, and while still moving it, release the mouse button.
