can't access games using firefox

Hey Cerberus.
When the little window of applications to install came up, after choosing to install the exe for Pool, did it install correctly? Where you also able to open the ActiveX control that pops up in a bar at the top of the screen to run the download?
I use the internet through Firefox to but everything is working fine on mine, so just wandering about the download working properly, unless you have something that could be blocking it's access maybe.
I don't know much about this though, it never happened to me, this is just my own iniative so.

yeah, it installed correctly, but when I tried to enter, I got the message. I contacted gamedesire about it and they advised me to uninstall and delete all associated files and then download them again.
I did this and I am still getting the message asking me to choose an application. the end result is that I still cannot access any games rooms.

when trying to launch certain games, I first have to download the installer. once successfully running the installer, I try to enter a room via the room link on the browser page I was on, and I get a message box informing me that the link needs to be opened with an application.
I browse and locate the firefox exe file and continue. now every time I click a room, it just opens a blank tab and the same box pops up saying I still need an application to open the game.
this is happening to all the games.
how do I fix this annoying occurrence????
